This VW went through a total body off restoration and has only been driven very little since. It looks like we finished it last week. The car came to WCCR as a very nice original car. We stripped it to bare metal and started to make it new throughout. German paint was used along with all the best materials. As you can see in the pictures the chassis was totally dissembled and powder coated semi gloss black as were all the components. All the mechanics were rebuilt with German parts where possible. We installed a new wire harness and kept the car 6 volt. This car never had a radio so the radio delete plate was used. It has the optional under dash tray which was for this year. Also a tissue dispenser was added. The original small ww tires were just added to make this even more correct for the year. This car is a original "Black Plate" car which shows it's been in California all it's life!! This restoration today will cost $45,000.00. We are offering this car for $17,500.00
